Day Twenty-Seven: Something I Ate

Long days and hard weeks get better when you find that a friend dropped off dinner at your door. Thank you to everyone who have been so loving to me and my family this week. Thanks for all your prayers.

Day Twenty-Six: Night

This is the view from where Bryan grew up. The lights you see
at the base of the Oak are the city lights of the Bay Area. And of course the lights you
see in the sky are the stars. Breathtaking. We are so little compared to everything else.
Life is so much bigger than just us.

Day Twenty-Five: Green

Meet Goosy, Bryan's pet goose back home. Isn't she a beaut?

Day Twenty-Four: Inside My Bathroom Cabinet

We didn't have a bathroom cabinet when we moved in so, I took this silverware drawer and hung it on the wall to make a cabinet. If you look closely you can see the handle on the left.

Day Twenty-Three: Shoes

To be honest, it's been a rough couple of days. Tired and lots on my mind, but I'm grateful for dear friends who have loved on me this week. I should note that it has been an incredible past couple of days too. My website launched and I posted my first wedding. It's crazy how life can be so muddy sometimes... so good and so bad all at the same time.

Day Twenty-Two: Where I Work

Well, we live in a one bedroom with no desk. Space is tight and I tend to rotate the computer around. Today's workspace is on our kitchen table [you can see the eggs in the background. ha!].

I'm thrilled for the day that our shoebox turns into a farm.

Weddinglove: Trish & Alvin

Ok guys! I'm pretty excited about this post! In the beginning of January, I got an e-mail from a photographer's forum I follow asking for a second shooter in SoCal. "I can do totally do that!"

Ok, let's be real. I've never shot a wedding before, but this was the opportunity that I had been looking for! So with an unreasonable amount of confidence, I emailed the sweet Megan Heath, saying, "Hey! I'd like to shoot with you!" Fast forward to the night before where a thousand thoughts were running through my head. "What if I don't like it!?" "Sweetbabyjesus, what if I suck?!?!"

After some time praying and much needed time with God, I came to the conclusion that God wouldn't bring me to this point only to find out I hate it, ya know? And if I suck, second shooting is a good place to start, right?

Well, let me tell you, I LOVED it! Give me every wedding ever, please! I can't get enough!

Before you check it out, I have to say I am in love with Trish's dress. So classy. And special thanks to Megan who is the sweetest. Thanks for being ridiculously nice and giving me this opportunity!

So without further ado, here are the shots I got at Alvin and Trish's wedding.
