Birthday Boy! [Part I]

I can't believe a year ago, we were in
the hospital room watching this little one come into the world.
Life is so beautiful and precious.
And this party was just that.

Jack, you are SO loved! Especially by your mamas.

Kyane, my nephew, who I can't get over the fact that he's all grown up wearing chucks. Such a proud aunt =)

Reading Time

Bryan and I bought these books for Jack.
There are really fun ones like Little Dinosaur
and Little Monkey, but we decided he's got to
learn all the animals
on the farm if he's going to be our nephew =)

Here's a few pics with his mama =)

Get ready...

I took a ton of pictures at my nephew's 1st birthday
party and they are about to flood this
blog with one-year-old cuteness.
If you don't like babies
 [perhaps they scare you?]
look away.

As much as I am looking forward to Fall
[pumpkin patches! brightly colored leaves! halloween!],
I am going to miss summer. It was such a good one this year.
Bryan and I feel incredibly blessed with our first summer in marriage.

Here in the Pellissier house, we will be celebrating Summer's end
with lots of ice cream and the last few swims at the pool.
Cheers! Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

The Ranch

On a whim of spontaneity, Bryan and I decided to head up to
see my parents last weekend. We were there for only 24 hours, but it was well
worth the visit. I saw my mama who I was especially missing that week,
my cousin was visiting with her boyfriend from the Navy, the fair/rodeo was in town, and early morning chats with my dad are always the best. I wish we all lived closer together.

In addition to seeing beautiful faces is the beautiful ranch my parents
live on. Everywhere is bloom and abundantly green. Bryan helped my
dad with some apple thinning since he has become an expert this past
year working on an apple orchard. The apples would plop into the stream
and the dogs would run in bobbing for apples. It's all so picturesque =)

Avo-Kudos

Seriously, who doesn't like avocados?
Especially being a huge fan of sandwiches, avocados are the perfect addition.
Bryan and I dream of the day we can make tons of guacamole for free.
 Today is the day, people.
 Our avocado seed has sprouted!
Now all we have to do is wait four to six years for production.
Thank God we started young. That means when I am 27 and Bryan is 29,
we will be very happy people.

Have a great day!
