Rock City Hiking

There's a place in Mt. Diablo called Rock City.
It's a bunch of sand stones that water and people have
carved trails, rock climbing holds, lover's initials, stair cases,
and caves into it.
I think it's pretty funny that the trail is called
"Trail through time".

Bryan found this baby hiking
pack for five bucks at a thrift store
and
Jack thought it was the bee's knees.

I think this picture is so precious.
This face lasted about 3 seconds
before turning into a grin.

Mt. Diablo

For my sister's birthday, we went camping at Mt. Diablo,
which is a mountain we've grown up by.
It was my nephew's first time camping,
so it was lots of fun and lots of work.
He now knows how to walk, which is cute,
but also a little terrifying when camping =)
We also played a little bit of Rummikub--a Pellissier favorite.

We love camping and we also love food.

I made this!

Can you believe it?! I can't!
Back in Spring, my friend Sara suggested that we should take vintage sheets from thrift stores and make dresses. I [who had only sewn a pillow in 6th grade] was hesitant. We took dresses that we already had [that seemed to fit all our friends] and used them as guides. I still can't believe that I can make a dress and a cute one at that!
WAH-LA! Here is one that I finished this past week and wore to a wedding!
If anyone would like one made, I would LOVE to make one for you! They are extremely comfortable! Like laying in bed! And they make you feel beautiful and womanly!
